Pet care experience
1yr on Rover and so many wonderful Fur Babies. I’ve spent the past year getting to know 22 dogs, and 18 cats, as well as a few Guinea pigs, bunnies and fish. I've spent my entire life with animals. Growing up with several dogs, cats and fish has taught me how to understand their body language and best interpret what they need from me. I have gained the trust of fearful "mean" cats and watched them become playful and cuddly. I have and still do pet and house sit for family and friends. I have looked after homes with as many as 12 animals (9 cats and 3 dogs), homes with 7 animals ( 3-4 cats and 3-4 dogs). I have no issue with the dirty work i.e. cleaning up accidents, vomit etc. I promise to treat your pets as if they are my own!

We throughly enjoyed our trip to Canada. It was comforting to know that Heather was staying at our house with our little guys. Heather came to our house and met our pups and spent several hours getting to know their special medical needs and habits before our trip. We are looking forward to having Heather back in the near future.
Heather once again did a great job watching our little ones. It is nice being able to take a trip with no worries!
Heather took wonderful care of our Jackie and house sat for a week. On our return, we found Jackie happy and healthy and the house was in good order which means so much for a pet owner. We would highly recommend her as a pet/house sitter and thankful we found her! Gail

I will follow your instructions exactly. You know your pet best! If they're used to a certain feeding schedule I will make sure they stick to it. If they have special requirements I will make it a priority. I have previously cared for animals that needed to have specific medications at specific times and animals with special needs. There is nothing I wont be able to do for your fur babies!

It’s important for me to know if your dog or cat is easily stressed by loud noises or new things. It’s also important for me to know their boundaries. Things they do and don’t like and what their response might be to me being there. I’ll meet your pet where they are and do my part to minimize any stress they may have by my presence!
A typical day
I love to take the dogs for a walk through the city parks with friends! I never get tired of playing with the dogs. Wether that’s fetch, tug or my family dogs personal favorite - keep away. I get just as much fun out of it as they do! Have a chill, laidback dog? No problem! I’m happy to give all the belly and ear rubs, butt scratches and cuddles they want! Cats are no different!

Availability
I am currently working full-time with The City. However I am available to house/pet sit through out the week and weekends. My work schedule is flexible so I would be available to return to your home around mid-day to spend some time with your pet and let them outside if needed!
