Pet care experience
I have enjoyed being in the company of dogs my entire life. I grew up on a micro-farm in the SF Bay Area and personally raised numerous dogs, cats, pot-bellied pigs, horses, sheep, chickens, turkeys, etc, etc. I nearly learned how to ride a horse before I knew how to walk. I have a pretty deep connection to animals, and typically find it easy to keep them calm. It seems like most animals naturally gravitate toward me, and feel safe in my presence. I own a young dog, Tilly, who absolutely loves sharing her home with other friendly doggos. Even dogs that are typically not interested in other dogs seem to enjoy her... It is important to me to keep my dogs in a safe environment and to keep them fulfilled (exercise/food/mental stimulation)...a calm dog is a happy dog. Therefore I am an extremely responsible and proactive dog owner/watcher.
Reviews
Heather was AMAZING with my fur baby! He has serious separation anxiety and hates when I leave. But, somehow he forgot all about me and fell in love with Heather and her fur baby Tilly! They became best friends and I’m so grateful for Heather and her hospitality. He will definitely stay again and she will be the ONLY person that I will allow to watch him from now on.

Information Heather B. would like to know about your pet
Honesty is key. If your dog has lashed out at other dogs before, I would much rather know by you telling me, than to discover this at the dog park. I can handle aggressive dogs, I just need to be prepared.
A typical day
I go on walks pretty much anywhere that dogs are allowed. Dog parks are typically on my agenda with Tilly, nearly every day. Sometimes we go stand up paddleboarding with her...if you would like your dog to experience that, please let me know (we even have a medium size dog floatation vest).
