***No longer accepting male dogs *** I have 18+ years experience with dogs with epilepsy, diabetes, and cancer treatments. I have experience with senior dogs, blind dogs, and dogs that are perfectly healthy! I currently have two dogs of my own who are on a strict schedule of food and medication. I understand the care that is involved with dogs who may need extra and timely care either emotional or physical. Even if your pupper does not need special medial care they are welcome! I grew up in a home that trained dogs and have two degrees in psychology. I am pretty well versed in behavioral training and am flexible enough to assure your lifestyle continues while they are here. I am very flexible and want to make sure your dog is taken care of and is happy. I am a PhD student at Ole Miss.

Heather is amazing! She took wonderful care of my puppy when I was unable to make it home for afternoon walks and she even left a doggy report card updating me on their time together. Highly recommended!

Heather is amazing with dogs, I highly recommend her! She took care of 2 of my dogs for a little over a week and I could not been happier. She made sure they were fed on a schedule, she provided them with plenty of exercise, she fed them organic treats, and even gave them a bath. She is also very loving and kind towards them. My dogs can be whiny, but she was very patient and attentive towards them. They also got tons of cuddles from Heather! They truly got diva treatment under her care! I am so thankful! She is amazing!

I would like to know the behaviors and emotions of your dog. If a dog is very people social or shy. If they don’t like other dogs and prefer to be left alone etc. I’d prefer to know the words you use for certain activities, like what you say for a walk, or to go out and potty, or for when it’s food time. Dogs like stability and going to a strangers house is hard enough. Using the same terms makes them a little more comfortable.
A typical day
I live a few houses down from Avent Park so walks will be full of activity and socialization if you want . I also have a fenced yard. I am very aware of anxiety type behaviors and can adjust care according to your pup! We can walk to the square or just stay inside. You decide what is best for your pup and I’ll deliver.
