Hi!! I’m Heather, I am a pet sitter with 10+ years of experience caring for dogs of all ages and varying temperaments. I am pet CPR certified, and very comfortable with administering medications or daily care treatments, as needed. I am very calm and even tempered by nature, and have found this trait to be indispensable when working with animals. I am not a certified trainer, but I have completed a lot of education and experience, while continuing to learn more and practice each day. Adam is my husband, and there hasn’t been a pup that could resist his sweet nature! He is the goofy-fun sitter that can play fetch all day, or will take your pup for a much needed jog/run in the evening. From snuggling on the couch to belly rubs in the yard, he never denies any attention that your pup can demand. We have a wonderfully sweet host pup of our own, Gwennie. She is a 12 year-old Papillion-Jack Russell mix that is ready to welcome your pups to our home, and ensure them a great stay! We are a laid back couple that opens our home to host your pup and provide them a fantastic and fun vacation while you are away. Our goal is for our home to become your pup’s “home away from home”!

I have a fenced in back yard, and Gwennie is very dog and people friendly! I crate visiting dogs anytime we leave the house to ensure all parties safety.

Our number one priority is your pup’s comfort; we want them to be just as relaxed as you are on your vacation. We allow them to make themselves at home, as they would in your home. Our house is very pet friendly : they are allowed on our furniture, we have tile and hardwood floors throughout the downstairs, there are water bowls in each main area, toys are scattered around for spur of the moment play, treats are abundantly available, and comfy dog beds can be found throughout our home. We do require a Meet and Greet prior to any new client booking. Meet and Greets are important on several levels : to ensure a proper fit for your pup’s circumstances, a chance for you to meet and “interview” us, a chance for us to meet and “interview” you and your pup, a chance to discuss the stay/service request details, and most importantly it is a chance for Gwennie and your pup to meet on neutral territory allowing them to meet as equals and get to know each other! We accept ALL SIZES and ALL BREEDS, as long as you pup is non-aggressive. We DO NOT accept AGGRESSION of any kind, no matter the size/breed. We keep drop off/pick up hours from 8am – 8pm, though special circumstances may be accepted if we are able. We will try to keep routines as close to normal as we can – so we want to know your pup’s daily schedule! **We are a couple that works full-time, we cannot guarantee that your pup will have human company 100% of the time during the day. We come and go throughout the day, so your pup is never “alone” for long periods of time, but we are not home full time. Due to this we are, unfortunately, not a great fit for dogs that have separation anxiety or have destructive tendencies when you leave your home.**
