I live in a flat with a shared garden, which is also very close to ideal dog-walking spots such as Mountsfield Park. I'm very open to whatever your dog needs - if looking after at my house, there are few rules! Dogs are allowed on the furniture and I'm more than happy to reinforce whatever your own personal boundaries are. This will be something I'd love to chat through when we meet. If I were to stay at your home, of course I would be entirely respectful and treat it even better than I would my own!

I'm pretty happy to go with the flow really! Whatever your dog likes to do, we can do - playing games, learning tricks, brief walks, long walks, exploring cafes/shops/pubs, or just having a good old cuddle.

Pet care experience
Hello! Simply put: dogs make me very, very happy. If there’s even a whiff of a dog about, I’ll be there, ready to dote my socks off. I’ve been a regular dogsitter for many years and no walk is too long if there’s a canine companion involved. I look after dogs overnight, both in my own home as well as at their owners, and I have consistent regulars I see every week. I'm well versed in dogs of all shapes and sizes, as well as ages - from puppy to a 16yr old golden oldie. I like to think I handle these situations calmly and confidently, easing a worried doggo into time away from their owners. I'm no stranger to the fuss a dog can kick up when it's routine is broken, but I'm patient, and I've never had any dog who doesn't settle with me after a lot of loving and some strategic treats. A little about me, I’m 30, I work for a not-for-profit doing their communications. I'd love to have a dog myself, but the combination of financing this and the commitment necessary means I'm not quite there yet . Any questions please shoot them my way! :)

Hazel is AMAZING! She stayed in our flat with our greyhound Dolly for a whole 10 days with her whilst we were away and was so lovely and caring of Dolly - we came back to a lovely clean house too! She was even so lovely and gracious about our dog having her up in the middle of the night! Dolly loved her time with Hazel and we will definitely be seeing Hazel again! :)

Hazel was wonderful. She arrived with time to spare and communicated clearly. Moo can be nervous with new people, but she seemed relaxed, comfortable, and well cared for on return from her walk. I’m looking forward to booking Hazel again.

This was the first time we had someone look after our 1 year old lurcher. We were a bit reluctant at first, but Hazel put our minds at ease from the meet and greet. Our dog liked her right away, and when we came back from our 5 day trip he was clearly happy, relaxed and well cared for. We also got plenty of updates while we were away, which made us feel reassured. Overall we are very happy and would happily ask Hazel again.

Hazel is everything you could ask for and more in a dog sitter! After a relatively bad experience, not from someone on this platform, we decided to take the plunge and look for someone else that would look after our boy whilst we were away. We met HAZEL first and did a trial run for one night and suffice to say that she bonded instantly with our dog and with us. She stayed at ours to look after our boy over the bank holiday weekend and has been truly exceptional. Regular updates, and pictures. We’ve always booked Hazel again. Couldn’t recommend enough!
