For over 15 years, I have taken care of animals both professionally and personally. Whether you're in the Bow Valley for a visit or a local looking for pet sitting, rest assured that your pet(s) will be given the highest quality of care. I've grown up with dogs of all shapes and sizes, and also spend time working and volunteeering at my local SPCAs, taking courses in animal behaviour, health, emergency medicine, etc. From our home nestled in the mountains of canmore, your pet will have access to dog parks and trails with plenty of chances to exercise and play, keeping them busy and happy while you're away. I understand it can be scary to leave your pup with a stranger - but rest assured that my years of experience and love for pups will ensure your pet is cared for to the highest standard. I am happy to connect with you before your stay to ensure you are comfortable and learn more about your pup - no charge, just ask. :)

Hayley is a pro! I booked her to watch the Dogs of Honour at my wedding and couldn't be happier. Last minute, a personal emergency came up for Hayley but I didn't have to worry about anything. She found an excellent replacement for her services which allowed me to be stress-free leading up to the wedding. Book Hayley!!

I have a large, two bedroom apartment with direct access to countless mountain trails, fenced dog parks within 10 minutes, and a goldendoodle pup at home who loves other pups. I am able to socialize your dog or keep them apart from other dogs (whatever you wish). As I provide dog walking, sitting, boarding, and house sitting services, I'm very flexible - whatever rules your dog has at home and needs to follow away, I'm happy to instate. If your pup needs medication, special feeding, etc., I'm also happy to accommodate this. Making sure your pup is safe, happy, and looked after is my number one priority. :)

Please let me know as much as you can about your pup so I can provide the best care possible! Some things I'd love to know are: - Does your dog have any medical concerns? - Does your dog have any behavioural concerns? - Is there anything that scares or stresses your dog? - Is your dog trained off leash? - What is your dogs normal routine? - Does your dog have any dietary concerns? - Is there anything I should know otherwise? :)
A typical day
A regular day with us looks like a morning walk around 6-7am (this can be adjusted for senior, special needs, or puppies!) for about an hour, another hour long walk at lunch time just before feeding, and then another hour of playtime in the evenings. Often times we'll go to the dog park for one or a few of these times to enjoy some socialization (pending this is okay for the pup!) and off leash fun. :) Dogs are seldom alone and if they are, they can be crated for safety. Potty breaks are every 1-2 hours :)

Availability
I currently work from home when I'm not in the mountains climbing or hiking - so I'm able to give your pup the best care, attention, and adventures from our Rocky Mountain home all day! 😊 We love to go on long walks (happy to provide walks in locations both on leash or off leash depending on what your pup enjoys the most), walks to the dog park, and play at home.
