Hey - I'm Hayley! I'm a dog owner looking to provide a home away from home for dogs of all sizes. I'm currently a full-time remote worker, so I work out of the comfort of my own home, so your dog will have 24/7 supervision, plus a fenced-in backyard to play in and frequent bathroom breaks. Plus, being a dog owner myself, there are plenty of treats (if allowed!), toys, and tennis balls to play with. Besides all that, I grew up taking care of dogs my entire life! My family owned three Labs and one American Eskimo, so I have experience taking care of dogs of all shapes, sizes, and energy levels. About six years ago, I adopted a big ol' pooch named Odee. He's a Bernese/Retriever mix and is incredibly sweet, gentle, calm, and loves to play. So your doggo will have a friend during their stay! I hope to provide a calm and comfortable environment for your dog while you're away!

I live in a three-bedroom home in a quiet neighborhood in Raleigh. I have a fenced-in backyard, so your dog will have plenty of outdoor playtime and frequent bathroom breaks if needed. I can take both crate trained and uncrated dogs, so whatever your preference is, I can accommodate. I also have plenty of treats, toys, and many dog beds to keep your dog as comfortable as possible. If there are any allergies or other restrictions for your dog, I will be diligent in adhering to them.

I'd love to know more about your dog in general: What are they like? Do they have any special needs or allergies? Are there specific things you're trying to train them to do (or not do!)? Any special requirements (e.g. feeding them alone, no dog parks, medications, how much food per day, walks per day, etc.). I'll be diligent in making sure your dog is well taken care of and as comfortable as possible.
A typical day
Depending on your dog's energy level, I can accommodate their needs! I take my own dog, Odee, on at least one daily walk, but can always up it to 2x/walks per day. We typically take a 30-45 minute walk around our quiet neighborhood that has a small walking path around a pond. I have a fenced-in backyard with tennis balls and chew toys for both your dog and mine to run around and play in during the day. A tired dog is a happy dog!

I currently work full-time out of my home, so your dog will have frequent bathroom breaks, constant supervision, and outdoor playtime. I also take my dog, Odee, on daily morning walks, so if that is something you'd prefer for your dog, I can definitely bring them along!
