I've spent the majority of my life with a dog around and that's my absolute ideal! My first dog was a black lab boxer mix (and potentially some greyhound?) She had a previously difficult home situation and was the runt of her litter which made establishing trust difficult but once we got there, we had an unbreakable bond! She was incredibly energetic and strong and helping to train her really taught me how to be with dogs. My second dog, Charlie, is pretty much the opposite. He's a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and we adopted him when he was about 9. He's 13 now and losing his hearing and sight. He's the sweetest little pup and having him has given me a lot of insight in how to work with older dogs. I am missing him quite a bit, being away from home, and I would love to be able to spend some time with dogs and at the same time make your life a little easier!
