Pet care experience
I am recent college graduate living in Washington, DC. I love dogs and getting exercise outdoors, and thought being a dog sitter and walker would be a fun way to pass time while waiting for my security clearance to work full-time as a FEMA program analyst. I have been routinely dog-sitting in my hometown of Morgantown, WV for the past eight years. While I have some regular clients in DC already, I hope Rover will allow me to meet more furry friends in the area! I am experienced with all kinds of dogs - large, small, young, old, and disabled. I have extensively worked with two young golden doodles, a senior lab and schnauzer bonded pair, shih tzus, dachshunds, yorkies and mini yorkies, pugs, and mixes of all kinds. I am comfortable administering all kinds of medication appropriately and on-schedule, helping older and disabled dogs move around gently, and wearing out your energetic puppy! I am happy to provide several references on request. I love dogs and cannot wait to meet yours!

I love all dogs, but have a very special place in my heart for short-legged friends (pugs, dachshunds, bulldogs, etc.) and seniors! I am happy to work on obedience training with your dog if it is part of your normal routine. Tell me about your dog's favorite toys and his/her normal day-to-day, bad habits, feeding schedule, allergies, etc. and I will make sure we have tons of fun! I love and encourage meet-n-greets with new furry clients so we can get to know one another and I can learn more about your best friend.
A typical day
I love to go on frequent walks and spend lots of time at the dog park if your dog likes socialization! I am home full time, so your furry friends will have lots of attention from my partner Franklin and me. We live in a spacious, pet-friendly English-basement apartment with a large, fenced-in backyard–plenty of room to fetch and tug-of-war inside and out! I take tons of pictures of the animals and will share them with you throughout your pet's stay.
