Pet care experience
I've had dogs & farm animals since I was a small kid, over 20 years! I started really training and working with animals, specifically dogs & horses about 17 years ago. I currently have a gentle 2-year English Bulldog, Peanut, who I trained myself and am working with her to earn her Special Needs certification to visit Adult Care Centers. My home is in a safe neighborhood, completely gated & fenced off, with a massive yard to run back & forth. I also am a long-distance walker and runner, so I would be happy to take your pet on healthy walk through the neighborhood. I absolutely love dogs and would be honored to care for your furry friend!

I was so fortunate to find Hayley and her family. They were able to care for my rescued dog on short notice and during the Christmas Season! I agree with all the Five Star reviews. It was reassuring to receive daily texts, pictures, and videos of my dog having so much fun with the long walks and getting spoiled with toys and treats. For future care I will definitely plan ahead because I don't think I will be able to find better care.
Hayley always spoils my pup rotten with treats and walks the pictures she sends are awesome and I know my best friend was in good hands . Thank you so much Hayley.
Tuba had another fantastic stay with Hayley. So glad we've found someone that we feel so comfortable leaving Tuba with. She seems to really love staying with them, and cuddling with her best bud Peanut.

I have a fully fenced in yard with a Blink security system on the perimeter of my home. We never leave our dog unattended for more than 15 minutes, to ensure she's not getting into something she shouldn't. Albeit, more times than not, Peanut's asleep next to our lush rose bushes in the sun. At a client's home, I will ensure doors are locked behind me and your dog(s) is not left unattended when outside the home. Bottom line, your dog(s) will have my full attention!

Please let me know how long your dog likes to walk for, are they capable or needing to run (short or long distance), do they have any known health issues or special needs I'll need to account for, etc. Are there certain triggers that I should be aware of (i.e., cats, barking dogs, people) and are working on? Is your dog able to be off-leash and if so, what commands do you use when they are off-leash? I'm very easy going and have yet to meet an animal I didn't like or who didn't like me, so I can tailor a walk or care to any specifications that make you & your dog happy and comfortable!
A typical day
I love engaging with pups on a nice brisk walk around my neighborhood and through a nearby nature park with a cedar walking path. If you have an especially high-energy pup, Powell Butte & Mt. Tabor are close by and very fun to explore all of the trails. I LOVE running with athletic dogs who are up for the challenge. With my massive yard, fetch, tug-a-war, and squirrel chasing is a must when your dog stays here!

Availability
I work fulltime from home, 9 am - 5 pm, but am up by 6:30 am to feed & groom my sweet Peanut. I ensure my own dog goes on at least 1 long walk a day (provided it's not over 80 degrees out) and get at least two hours of outdoor play time (and lots of snuggles). My dog is cared for like a queen - always - so feel confident in knowing I would treat your pup with the same level of care and attention.
