Can I please pet your dog ?
Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs, cats and fish since I was 10. My dog was very large, over 100 pounds ! I am very capable of walking and cleaning up after larger animals as well as the smaller kind :) I have watched neighbors dogs and cats as well with no issues or complaints. I do not currently have a pet of my own and would love to be able to care for some even if it is a short amount of time. I just love animals !

Hayleigh was super great with Daisy! She was very attentive to her and gave her lots of love. I really appreciate the pictures she sent during her visit and the details she passed on.

Hayleigh did such a fantastic job sitting my dog Frankie for the first time. She made sure he got plenty of exercise out of the apartment walking, socializing, and playing with other dogs at the park. At the same time, he seemed comfortable relaxing with her and getting snuggles. Her husband also seemed great and playful with him. Frankie didn’t want to leave at the end of the day! He was exhausted, just what I was hoping for after a fun day. I loved how she asked a lot of questions before I left Frankie and was detail oriented, then gave me plenty of details about their day. I could not be more grateful for this last minute sitting and will definitely request Hayleigh again. Thank you!

I live in an apartment that is pet friendly, and downtown with various parks nearby for walking, playing, potty breaks, etc. My apartment also has enough space to play and entertain inside. I am aware of the common cues of dogs needing to potty so I would ideally bring them down and outside but if they are potty pad trained, that is okay too. I have no small children or other pets.

I would like to know if the dog is potty trained and how often they need to go outside to avoid accidents. I would also need to know how they are on walks and if they are friendly with other animals/people so it is a safe experience for everyone. I would also need to know about any specific feeding info such as time, amount, treats allowed, etc.
A typical day
I love to be outside so plenty of walks and playing outside ! I also live near plenty of dog friendly parks and beaches depending what your pup enjoys and if they are friendly with other animals and people. If they are currently working on new tricks/manners I would love to engage them mentally as well and continue working on their training habits.

Availability
I am currently working remote (from home) 3 days a week which would allow me to watch and take care of animals throughout the whole day. I have weekends off which also allows me to dedicate time to taking care of animals. I am a very active person and would love to have an animal to accompany me on walks and or hikes.
