Hi there! My name is Hayden, I’m a 23 year old male living in Midland Ontario who has a passion for dogs. I grew up with 2 dogs in the house my entire life. I went to police foundations to become a police dog trainer. I have volunteered for the SPCA and I have a rescue dog of my own named Kyra! I understand that your dog is your life. It can be scary to leave them with someone you don’t know. I can ensure you that in my care your dog will be treated exactly how you treat them at home. I’m a huge believer in physical activity for dogs. In my care dogs receive a minimum of a 5km walk every morning. (Usually around Little Lake in downtown Midland) This allows them to start the day off doing something they love to do! My training methods are simple, I encourage positive behavior. No yelling, screaming, hitting, or negative disciplining. If a dog is acting out, pulling, barking, or any kind of negative behavior I get their attention through a light tug on the leash, snap of the fingers, or a “sh” sound. Then I reward them for positive behavior :) Every dog who is in my care leaves home with a little doggy bag of treats, and a detailed copy of their time in my care. This will include bowel movements, time outside, # of treats, amount of food eaten, and behavior. I absolutely love dogs and would love to have the opportunity to have yours stay with me!
