My wife and I have a lifetime of experience caring for all sorts of animals. We love dogs, especially. I have a veterinary care background as well as a Zoology degree and am experienced with various different types of animals and the care thereof. We have an energetic - yet very gentle - Golden Retriever, a rambunctious Great Pyrenees puppy and an old-man of a Pomeranian in our home, so all dogs staying with us must get along with other dogs. We would be willing to crate our puppy for periods of time to give your little guy/girl one-on-one time, if that is your preference, and we do have the ability to block off areas of the home to separate (from my dogs, or if you have more than one dog and they need separation) if needed. I take my dog to the dog park and on a lot of walks, and we also have a large fenced in yard that is treated monthly to prevent fleas in the area. They can get all the playtime they need! If you don't wish for that, though, then that is not a problem either. I have a very comfortable environment for any and all animals who stay with me. My Pom is a very lazy senior and there will be plenty of dog beds and comfy spots to laze around if that's the kind of dog they are as well. I will stay strict with any and all schedules (feeding, treats, play time, potty time, medicines, etc) that you provide, but if you don't have a specific schedule for your dog, then I will put them on my dog's feeding, play, treat, and potty schedule (except for younger puppies, and in that case I will take them out much more often than my pup). I am very easy-going and easy to deal with. I will also send as many updates via text as you want, with photos and "report cards" of your little ones activities for the day. We also provide baths, nail trims and ear cleanings! Let me know what you may need during your stay with us!
