I grew up with dogs and have always loved them. When I was a baby we had 2 Great Danes that were my playmates and protectors and so dogs have been a great love of mine ever since. I often baby sit my friends' animals while they are out of town and help friends take care of their dogs during any major life changes like new babies. I had dogs my whole life until I left for college. Since then I have dog sat whenever possible. Pets are more than animals they are part of the family and I care for them the same way I care for the children I nannied growing up. There are few messes big enough to scare me and few energy levels that get to me. I am authoritative with dogs and rigorously follow the behavioral wishes of their human (anyone with herding dogs knows how important constant instruction is for their happiness). I work full time in retail but will work around my work schedule to make sure your dog is taken care of. Unfortunately my apartment does not allow animals so your pet will not be able to come to my home, but I will maintain a consistent routine for the animals I care for, breakfast and dinner at the same time as well as bedtime. I love every animal I come into contact with and will care for your pet with as much love, patience, and commitment as I did my own pets growing up.
