I don’t accept new clients last minute for the safety of both your pets and mine. 🐾 A Little Bit About Me: I'm Haven. Since I was a child I have been absolutely in love with all things animal! Since around the age of 13 (now 29) I've helped out family friend and neighbor with their pets. Whether that meant feeding the cats, cleaning the bird cage or letting the dogs out to potty. As well as caring for my own dog as a teenager. I’ve fostered cats of all temperaments. I’m most proud of the feral and semi-feral cats and kittens I’ve been able to care and rehabilitate to successfully be homed as house cats. I’ve taken in foster kittens that needed hourly bottle feeding and constant care. It’s work I absolutely adore doing. I now have three rescue cats. Of the three cats one is special needs kitty with neurological issues and back leg weakness and the other is a spicy semi-feral who rules over the backyard and basement. And the third I just couldn’t help but fall in love with! They all came from the humane society I worked at. 🐾 The spare bedroom can be set up for any pet to have their own safe space away from all the other animals in the house. My pets can also be put away into my bedroom for the comfort of your pet/pets. I do have cameras in the house to keep an eye on everyone while I’m at work or away from the house for any reason. 🐾 My Work with Animals: I have worked at a dog hotel where I was responsible for up to 17 dogs of all shapes and sizes in a playroom at once! It was loud and it was sometimes gross but I absolute loved being around all those four legged creatures. I worked at a humane society for several years and am very comfortable with rescue animals, anti social animals and anxious animals. Currently work at a veterinarian hospital. This makes it very important for any clients to make sure their animals are up to date on vaccinations. I do come into contact with all sorts of illnesses that can be brought home with me and want all animals in my care to be safe. I take all necessary precautions on my end to keep germs to a minimum and request that the clients do the same for the benefit of all pets in my house hold. Animals Health and Care: Though I don’t have any certifications I do know how to handle animals in distress, whether they be choking, over heating, anxiety or hurt. I am able to administer medications whether hey be oral or injectable. I can also work on simple commands and training. Sit. Stay. Shake. Etc. As well as house training. I'm comfortable bathing dogs and doing very simple grooming. (Face trim, nail trim, butt cut, tail cut, brushing and feet if the dog allows.) My yard is wide open space surrounded by thick over growth. Outside it's easy enough to play around on a leash or a run! 🐾 Feel free to contact me if you need a sitter.
