Thanks for considering me as a host for your dog. I've cared for animals from a young age. Dogs and cats as well as many caged animals including; fish, birds, amphibians, reptiles and rodents since I was in grade school. My first job as a kid living in an apartment building on Lake Shore Dr. was walking the dogs that lived in the same building. .The white dog named Bunny Cat you see in my photos died at age 14 in August 2020. We got him at a shelter in 2008. Many days we walked for the fun of it even after walks for relief.. We now have a sweet little female named Lilly from another shelter. Our yard has a over 90 foot run combined of grass and pavement walkway. The rest is flowers. We are only 2.5 blocks from a large park for even more exploration. In terms of winter walks during the stay I'm happy to put on sweaters and boots if needed and even wash the dog if they get extra dirty.. Believe me we will do our best to avoid that. Lol. I understand dog's moods and how they play. The environment I provide for your dog will engage their intelligence, delight their need for variety and be a safe, fun place that they will want to return to. As a host I will also pay strict attention to any owner instructions. Regarding puppies, crate training is required. The dog must already be in the process and used to their crate. On any stay of 5 days or more for any dog, a previous paid one night trial stay will be required. Looking forward to meeting you and your pet soon.
