Hello, I’m Harriet! I’ve spent my whole life around dogs, as I grew up with two Labradors and then we added an English pointer to the mix so it’s always been a very busy household! I’m from a family of dog lovers so I’m always super excited when I get asked to be the dog sitter. I also have a family Cavapoo called Roly who you’ll see heavily featured in my profile. I love taking him on all sorts of adventures to discover the beautiful countryside around the area. Hopefully rover will give me a chance to meet some energetic dogs that like long walks and want to come exploring with me.

Harriet looked after our 4 month old golden retriever puppy twice (in our house and hers) and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her. It was our first time leaving our puppy and Harriet did amazing with her. Thanks again!

Harriet was brilliant looking after Tayce who came back relaxed rested and happy. She gave us lots of updates and was incredibly accommodating for Tayce. We’ll definitely be getting Harriet to look after Tayce the next time we’re away
Harriet has been amazing when looking after our 10 month old Retriever. She's extremely accommodating, friendly and it's clear he has fun during the stay as he always comes back worn out!

My house is very secure with a fully enclosed garden which will keep your pets nice and safe and allow them to have some freedom. If you’d also like to crate your dog then I can accommodate quite easily. If you’re dogs anxious then I’m happy for it to sleep in my room, but I’m also happy to have it sleep in the Living room if it’s not an upstairs dog. There’s no other dogs or children in the house so your dog will be the centre of attention. I’m also situated very close to Chorltons lovely parks and will always welcome the opportunity to drive somewhere nice for a long walk.

Please let me know if you’re dog has any additional needs that I need to be aware of. It would be great to know how they are with other dogs and children, so I can make sure they’re happy and relaxed on walks. My housemates sometimes have dogs staying in the house also so it would be good to know how your dog is with socialising. If there is a dog staying ahead of your booking, I'll always let you know. Let me know if they have any special dietary requirements and how they behave on walks, both on and off the lead.
A typical day
I love an excuse to get out in Chorlton and get some fresh air on a dog walk! Where I live there's lots of lovely parks and the river mersey so your dog can be spoilt for choice. I also live very close to a secure exercise park, for the dogs that love to chase a ball and play but aren't so good with recall off lead.

Availability
I work from home 2/3 days a week and have a very flexible job which allows me lots of time to walk and play with any dogs that might be staying. Currently I work from home Mondays and Fridays so I can always watch a dog then. I can also request to be remote on other days, I’d just need to be given a bit of notice for this.
