Pet care experience
I have owned a multitude of dogs from chihuahuas to bouvier de flanders. I had the luck of growing up on a farm where we rescued all sorts to give a forever home. That was where my love for them started. Since I was around 13, I've been doing home visits, pet sitting, and dog walking. I am extremely active and love nothing more than giving others' dogs a nice little vacation from their normal routines! I love going on walks or skating (if the dog is comfortable and well trained), I have a decent sized fenced in yard with two incredibly social and goofy hounds who love to play. Whether your dog stays with me, or if I go to visit I promise they will be treated like family!

Harriet was one of my, and my dogs, favorite dog-walker/sitter. She is so compassionate to the pups and dedicated to making sure they are happy and well-taken care of. I never worried about my 4 dogs when they were with her, I knew that they were in the best hands. She would send picture updates of her snuggling with my pups and it always made my day. I am using the past-tense because I recently moved far away from Harriet and I have yet to find anyone, or any facility, that my dogs love as much as they loved her. If I could have moved her with me, I would have, that is how great she is with dogs and what a neat human she is overall. Harriet has watched my pets when I've had short and long term travel out of state. It is always hard to leave them at home, but I know that Harriet always provides top notch care and love for my cats. As a dog and cat owner herself, she is a natural with animals, she is very caring, and follows exact instructions. Harriet is a trustworthy and capable petsitter who I highly recommend!
Harriet is fantastic with dogs of all sizes and suppositions. She has been a wonderful caregiver for my 2 German Shepherd dogs any time I was traveling for the last 2 years and I highly recommend her. I only wish she still lived in Pullman! :)
I am a parent to 4 dogs, all of various sizes and breeds. Some of them have special needs, and all of them love exercise and attention. When we have asked Harriet to watch them while we are away, she has done an exceptional job. I've also watched her successfully integrate new dogs into our pack for successful play dates, demonstrating a wonderful knowledge and understanding of energy and interaction among a pack. She is more than willing to meet dogs where they are at in terms of behavior and special needs. I would highly recommend Harriet for caring for any small to large breeds dogs.

I like to take dogs on walks along the Spokane River, I also live very close to a multitude of parks in Spokane that I can take them to walk around in. I love playing and teaching fetch, as well as other commands so we can add that to the fun if you're interested!
