Energetic dog lover - 4 years care experience

Pet care experience

Hi there! I'm Harriet, a London based animal lover with 4 years professional experience working at a rescue and boarding kennels in Buckinghamshire. In my amazing years at the kennels, I cared for every shape and size of dog. I was trusted to walk, feed, medicate and groom the dogs in my care. I looked after hundreds of dogs in this time; puppies to seniors, chihuahuas to great danes, so I hope you will feel at ease leaving your pup in my care. My work with the rescue dogs means I have lots of experience in handling nervous and more unpredictable dogs, as well as those with medical requirements. This means that I have a very patient approach with animals and prioritise building trust with every new dog I meet. I have now moved on from the kennel and work from home full-time. My work is very flexible and enables me to take multiple breaks throughout the day for walking, toilet and cuddle breaks. I have plenty of time in the day, evenings and weekends to dedicate to pet care and giving dogs and cats lots of fuss! I keep my calendar up to date, so you can view which days I am unavailable. I offer dog walking, day care, overnight stays, as well as longer duration stays. For overnight services, I am happy to come to you, or have your furry friend at my home. I share my house with 3 other female professionals who are also huge animal lovers so your dog is sure to get lots of fuss and cuddles all day long!

Luna had a great time with Harriet! She's generally shy with new people but seemed to get comfortable very quickly. We received regular updates, videos and pictures. She came back home tired and happy :) Easy communication and flexibility with Harriet as we were a little late on the drop off. Thank you Harriet and hoping to have Luna with you again soon!

Harriet was a great sitter. She was very communicative when booking & sent us updates through the evening. Bailey was very happy in her company. Would definitely book again!

Information Harriet B. would like to know about your pet

I like to receive a short bio of your dog to get to know them a little better before we meet. It would be great to know the following: - Any medical or dietary requirements they have. - How energetic they are eg how often/ long they liked to be walked. - If they are sociable and enjoy playing with other dogs - What their temperament is like, for instance are they shy, scared of loud noises etc - If they are toilet and crate trained This helps me get to know your pooch and ensure I make them comfortable and relaxed during their stay.

A typical day

Your dog will be sure to get lots of attention and stimulation during their stay. I live close Tooting Bec Common. Here, they'll be able to explore the common and, if appropriate, have a good run around and meet other dogs. There's loads of trees, ponds and secret pathways in the common, so its a great place to give your pup some mental and physical stimulation. I also encourage you to bring their favourite toys so we can play in the house between walks.
