Happy Time, Fur Time!

Pet care experience

I had my first pet when I was about 10 years of age. He was a white pomeranian about 6 months old. We named him Sonu Singh (Sonu as first name and Singh is my family name). He was too young to know how to climb stairs, however, he eventually figured it out and then it was one of the fun activities for him to climb up and down stairs. When me and my 2 siblings would come home after school, he would get over excited seeing us and it was the same thing from our side as well. He would get so excited to see us that he could not control his happiness which was clearly visible from his body language. We really loved him and will continue to do so and he will always be in our thoughts for the lifetime. In addition to this, petting street dogs is a very common phenomenon in my day to day life. Stopping my bike and parking it along the road and asking the person who is walking the dog if we can pet him or her is something that happened several times in the past in India. Now being in the UK from last 1 month, several times I have seen dogs passing by me on the sidewalk, however, I could not ask the owner/ pet walker if I can pet the dog as I doubt if that is allowed here or not. Back in India, there was one time when I visited an Animal Vet with an extremely weak dog for the treatment. He was admitted there for a week and once he was healthy again, we got him discharged and took him where he used to live with his other buddies. During this pandemic, we brought home 2 guinea pigs. Their names were Cookie and Mango. We had a totally different experience with them. Unlike dogs, they don’t like you to cuddle them. At least that’s how it was with these 2. I used to work from home in the same room where they had their house. Everytime I stood up to take a break, they would start making noises which actually meant they needed more food in their cage even though they already had some food and hay in there. After coming to the UK for studies, I am certainly not able to feed or hold them to pet, which makes me miss them a lot. But that’s how it is right now.

Hello, As a good friend of Hardip, I know that he is very kind and understanding person who always tend to help others. Animals have a special place in his heart, and he is always ready to help them in every way. Whenever he see any animal in pain he provides them food, shelter, love and care. I can undoubtedly recommend him for the dog sitting because of above qualities, and he can take good care of your little ones with all his heart🙂
