Pet care experience
Who am I: 1) I am a young professional who is missing the companionship of a 4 legged friend. In my spare time I play sports, go on runs, and explore the outdoors and I would love if a dog could join me on these activities. However, I would also be perfectly comfortable watching a movie and cuddling with a furry friend on the couch. 2) I grew up on a farm in BC and was surrounded by animals my entire life. I have owned both dogs and cats - but I have to say... I prefer dogs. I have experience with both large and small dogs with all sorts of behaviours. I have worked in the pet industry both regarding nutrition and training and would love to share my knowledge. 3) In terms of my work life balance, I will be working from home and have lots of time for a puppy's attention. My weekends consist of hanging out with friends, going on runs and playing sports. 4) I currently live with my boyfriend who is an avid dog lover as well who will be supporting looking after the pups as well! Daily Dog Sitting Life: 1) I can accommodate multiple walks and runs throughout the day in addition to frequent potty breaks!: - Monday - Friday 2 walks a day: Before work (7am -8am) 30min and after work (6pm+) long walks/runs 60min+. - Weekends 2+ walks/runs a day: 30-60min each 2) I live on the ground floor in a spacious apparent within a house. We have a fenced in yard and also are a 2min walk away from a fenced in park - great for active dogs. 3) Small dogs with minimal shedding will be allowed on the furniture however, no dogs of any size will be allowed on the bed. We can accomodate crate usage as well as having the dogs rome free while we are out for short periods. What's in it for the dog? 1) Walks, runs, outdoor play time 2) Belly rubs, ear scratches, cuddles 3) Opportunity to work on tricks, obedience, leash training, etc. 4) Encouragement of tail wages and happy smiles 5) Being asked "who is a good dog?" at least 10x daily The reason I would like to dog sit is because I am honestly missing caring for an animal. I love going for walks, playing with them and spoiling them...:)

Kajsa and her boyfriend did a great job watching my sweet puppy Moana. It was my first time leaving her with a sitter and they made sure to send me pictures and videos throughout the day. They always responded to my messages on time and were never late for pick up! They are a great young couple and I would trust them again with Moana anytime!
Kajsa was available on a week's notice and her boyfriend was willing to come meet us ahead of time so my dog had an idea of who she'd be staying with. They both sent me pictures over the course of the weekend so I could see that my fur-baby was happy and active. I felt comfortable leaving both my dog and my house key with them. When their neighbour's complained about my dog barking, they were able to troubleshoot and had someone stay with my dog when possible and brought her to my house when it wasn't.

Please let me know if your dog has any unique behaviours. I am not comfortable looking after dogs that show aggression towards humans. If they are cautious around other animals this is something I can work with no problem!

I love walking and going on runs! Having a dog alongside me would be ideal. I love working on tricks and training with pups to help them reach there full potential. There is also excellent running paths and dog parks very close to my house!

Availability
I have been trained in dog obedience and love to work my knowledge by encouraging both mental and physical activity. I have the time to do dedicated, focus training throughout the day while I take breaks from my full-time work from home job.
