My passion for animal care began at age 8 and spans over 13 years of hands-on experience. Through caring for personal pets across different life stages, I developed foundational knowledge in animal behavior, nutrition, wellness needs, and recognizing signs of illness. Currently, I work as a veterinary assistant at a general practice clinic, where I assist with routine examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatment protocols while providing compassionate care to animals and educating pet owners. I am presently enrolled in the Veterinary Technology Program at Delaware Technical Community College, pursuing comprehensive training in animal health, medical procedures, and veterinary science. This formal education, combined with my professional experience and lifelong dedication to animal welfare, has developed my technical skills in diagnostic equipment operation, laboratory techniques, and advanced animal handling.
