Dogs are a girl's bestfriend <3

Pet care experience

I am home full time with my dogs as well as the other dogs I look after. I have two fur babies, Scooby and Piper, who are friendly and get excited each time they have a new friend stay with us. I feel exercise is very important and keeps them healthy and active so we visit Shelby farms each day. I'm natural minded so the treats I give are with whole ingredients and no fillers or preservatives. Overall I try to be the best care giver for my dogs as well as other people's dogs. They may not be children, it they sure feel like it! I know the sad and anxious feeling we get when we have to leave our fur babies behind when we go on trips. It's important to me that you as well as your loved pet feel the most comfortable and confident in my home. All four pawed friends are loved as if they are my own at all times. I've cared for dogs for a long time and it comes as a second nature to me. I can usually tell when something is wrong and the fur baby isn't acting normal, in this case I take precaution and inform you of the issue immediately. Rover also has a vet on call 24/7 and if the owner isn't able to be contacted, I can contact the vet. Lastly, my oldest dog, Scooby, was put through therapy dog training classes so I know how to train dogs well and can do anything that is asked in terms of training or bad habit breaking. PLEASE NOTE: Although I am home full time, it is imperative to stick to the times we agree on. If you’ll be bringing your loved pets to me at 3pm, please be here at 3pm. I schedule family events, outings with my husband, dog activities and general errands around such times. Please be considerate of my schedule and I am usually very flexible for yours. Thanks!

Hannah did an excellent job overall. She was very friendly and welcoming when we first met. During the week she kept Shasta, she sent both pictures and comments of and about her. I definitely recommend her to anyone needing a dog sitter.

We’ve been very hesitant to post anything but in the end we felt it was necessary. When we picked up our dog from Hannahs we noticed her right eye was very red and she barely was able to keep it open. Hannah told us she had noticed it had gotten red the day before we picked her up but that they were unaware of any incident. We took her to our vet and they then referred us to a veterinarian ophthalmologist where they told us she has a posterior synechia which can come from inflammation to the eye caused by trauma/ infection. Her pupil appears to be split down the middle and she is predisposed to glaucoma now. This is permanent damage and her pupil will never look the same. We don’t know what happened but understand that accidents do happen. Hannah was friendly and easy to work with but we felt the need to share our experience.

Information Hannah W. would like to know about your pet

No breed restrictions! I dislike when people judge a dog by it's breed so any breed is welcome in my home. I would like to know what commands they know, how much they eat or when they eat, any aggression issues or territorial behaviors they have (This is so we can properly handle them in situations they might get stressed in). What does a normal day look like for them? How often do they eat? (graze feed or time feed) I want to make their stay experience and mine is as stress-less as possible. I want all fur babies to be happy and have their mini vacation while their owners are away.

A typical day

We walk to Shelby farm which is about a mile from my home, we play ball in the back yard, I create puzzles and contractions when they get bored or on rainy days to keep them focused and intrigued. My dogs absolutely love being socialized and having new play mates each day.
