As a self-proclaimed animal lover, without shame, I admit I will cross the street strictly to say hello to a dog. My relationship with animals extends a 20 year stretch. Having grown up in a household one could call a zoo, I’ve had ample experience working with newborn puppies to pets with health complications and everything in between. I have volunteered with multiple humane societies, having underwent behavioral training and practice. Having worked with this population, I’ve learned the importance of a good walk, an open lap, and a happy disposition. Our pets are family, and just like children, the importance of an educated, kind, and responsible individual to take care of them is imperative. I would love the opportunity to so.
