Words can’t express how passionate I am about dogs. They’re fluffy balls of joy that deserve all the love and care we can give them because of how much they give to us! I’ve been taking care of dogs and other animals professionally for about three years now but have looked after dogs for many years prior. I can say for a fact that caring for animals, especially dogs, is one of my favorite things to do. I love dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I’ve taken care of German Shepherds, Huskies, Collies, Australian Shepherds, Beagles, Great Danes, Labrador Retrievers, Boxers, Bull Terriers, Golden Retrievers, Pugs, Shih Tzus, Bichon Frise, Poodles, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Pit Bull Terriers, German Shorthaired Pointers, Pomeranians and many more. I have experience with anxious and fearful dogs and understand how to properly interact with them. I’ve gained the trust of dogs that don’t trust easily. I’ve cared for puppies before and understand how much attention and care they need. I have tended to senior dogs, given medication, and am familiar with special diets. I have experience training both puppies and adult dogs. I have trained dogs to walk on the leash properly without pulling. I aspire to be a professional dog trainer, so I’m happy to work on commands. I’ve also tended to cats, chickens, ducks, fish, and guinea pigs. If you have an animal that I haven’t cared for before, I would be extremely happy to learn how and always look forward to learning more about animals! I follow instructions well, learn quickly, and always have the dog’s and dog owner’s best interests in mind. You can count on me to play with, cuddle, pet, walk, and love your dog. You can expect lots of pictures of how much fun your dog and I have together. I absolutely love to walk dogs. We usually walk for about a mile but sometimes even longer if it’s a nice day. Many times I will jog or sprint with your dog so that they can expel extra energy and have an even better time. When I dog sit and stay over at the owner’s house for the night, I make sure to always take good care of the house and leave it cleaner than when I arrived. I will wash all sheets and towels and, due to Covid-19, will disenfect/clean the house. Other than care for your dog, I’m happy to do anything else I can to help around the house such as water plants or get the mail. I will also send updates throughout the day and a summary every evening of what we did that day with plenty of pictures. Before the stay, I will come to meet you and your dog and am willing to come over a few times prior to bond with and gain the trust of your dog and learn how to properly care for them. I am currently doing online school and have a very open schedule, so I will most likely be available whenever you need me.
