Dogs have always been part of my life -everything from a 75-pound Boxer to an 11-pound Bichon Frise. I am working as a dog sitter with Rover because I want to spend more time caring for, walking and playing with dogs during this time in my life while I don't have my own pup. I have a very flexible schedule, so you can be assured your pup will get lots of attention. I have cared professionally for dogs, including everything from walking and overnight homestays for pups of all sizes, ages, and abilities. I have even cared for dogs with medical and dietary needs where I made homemade food and administered medication. I love dogs and miss having them in my life. I take caring for dogs very seriously because I know that they are a part of your family, and I will treat your dog as if it were my own. I have an active lifestyle and look forward to your K9 friend joining me on daily walks and/or runs if that is something they like to do.

Howdy spent 10 days with Hannah, and it was overall a great experience. She's very communicative about what's going on day to day, sending lots of pictures and voicing any questions or concerns that she had. I also appreciated Hannah taking the time to bring Howdy to the park multiple times during his stay. Would recommend Hannah to anyone!
Hannah was great with Marlo. Communicative and attentive to his needs. He had a brief issue with stairs but Hannah was able to resolve it. Seemed very experienced and professional and Marlo had a great time.
Hannah was the best! She was really responsive and gave great updates on our pup. She even took her hiking, which was an extra special treat for our dog. Can’t wait to work with her again!

I always set up meet and greets with the pup and the owner before the visit to be sure I know all about potty schedules, eating routines, exercise needs, command training, and any other special needs. I also like to know more about your dog’s energy level, diet, health history, and friendliness toward other dogs and people.
A typical day
If your dog is full of energy, we would go on longer walks (30 minutes-plus) each day with plenty of potty breaks in between. I also do daily playtime in the yard or basement and work on any commands your dog is learning. If it’s warm out, we may even go on weekend hikes.

Availability
Any given day, we would go on one to two longer walks (30+ minutes) per day with shorter potty breaks in between. If your dog interacts well with other dogs, we could go to the dog park. I’m comfortable if your pup wants to chill on the couch or bed. If you have a senior pet or pet who can't go on long walks, we can also relax and snuggle together!
