I thought I knew the definition of "dog person," but when I met Hannah the whole meaning changed. Hannah is the type of person who would do anything for a dog, whether it be her own or someone else's. I experienced not only living with Hannah and her first "child" Remus "Remi" Padfoot, but was also there for her first ever fostering experience. Unsurprisingly, this was immediately a foster fail that gave way to her second fur child, Rubeus "Ruby" Luna. Hannah is the type of person that would rather let herself down before she let down any canine. She feeds her dogs better than I feed myself, and always makes her dogs her first priority in her daily schedule. Monthly Barkbox arrival days are celebrated as much as national holidays. I look fondly upon our memories of picking up neighbors' strays in order to make sure that the animals found their way safely home, and have no doubt that there will be many more memories like that to come. Additionally, Hannah has a way of making even the most timid of dogs fall in love with her. After years of knowing her I'm beginning to become more and more convinced that she is part dog (still working on getting her to take the doggy DNA test). All jokes aside, I would trust this friend with mine and any other man's best friend's life. My only warning would be that there's a chance that the dog she's watching may never want to leave her care.
