Pet care experience
Our beloved dogs have been a part of my family since I was five years old, beginning with my beagle Ruby, and now extending to my two pups Carson and Boo. In addition to my own dogs, I often watch my neighbor's dogs while they vacation, and when I was 12, I was hired to do drop-in visits for my neighbor's 3 dogs after school- I did it (& loved it!) every day for 4 years! Since I went to school at the University of Nebraska, I became involved with No-Kill Advocacy club, working with local shelters to care for dogs and advocate for No-Kill shelters nationally. I have plenty of dog walking experience from not only my own dogs, but also as a volunteer to walk at Good Dog Rescue in Palmyra, NE while at school the last four years. Through this experience, I have learned how to work with dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and quirks. I can't help but say hi and pet every dog I see when I'm out and about & I would love to get some time with other pups while I am away from my own!

Hannah's love and enthusiasm for dogs in unmatched by any. She has two dogs of her own, one being a stray that her family rescued. Whether there is one rounding the same corner or across the street from Hannah, you can count that she will go out of her way to give love and affection toward any dogs!
I would say that on any given day I receive no less than 18 texts from Hannah that are dog- related. Whether she has spotted a particularly energetic pup, or the smallest one she's ever seen, the excitement that Hannah gives off just from simply seeing a dog is HIGHLY palpable. But Hannah is not only a dog lover from afar, but she genuinely adores animals and has 2 lovely dogs of her own that she loves more than anything in the world. If I ever got a dog, I would not just let Hannah take care of it while I was away, I would literally prefer to have her raise it for me, as she would dote on it all day and give it everything it needed-- from long walks in the park to belly rubs all night long. I say this often and truly believe it: if I ever find someone who loves me as much as Hannah loves literally every dog she sees, I'd be a very lucky gal.
Full disclosure: I'm Hannah's father, which uniquely qualifies me to recommend her as a dog caregiver. Her experience with dogs began in earnest at age 5, with our beloved Beagle, Rudy, and extends through today with our dogs Charlie and Carson. Hannah's love of dogs and responsible nature made her a much sought-after dog sitter with our neighbors across the street and families at our church. Hannah's commitment and responsibility extend beyond caring for dogs. It's the kind of commitment that got her on the Dean's List and inducted into the Honors Society for Sociology at the University of Nebraska. To take a break from academics, Hannah has volunteered at Good Dog Rescue in Palmyra, NE, where she walked and cared for dogs over the past two years. Hannah's maturity, commitment and love for dogs will make her an exceptional care giver.
Hannah was amazing with our two dogs. One has some special needs and she was so patient and caring. We are admittedly "protective, bordering on neurotic" pet owners. Hannah did such a great job, she put us at ease. Our dogs' enthusiasm at seeing her, was just the endorsement we needed. She's highly, highly recommended.
