I. Love. Dogs!! From their velvety ears, to their wet noses, waggin' tails, and scent of their paws! (Is that weird? It's my fav!) What I especially love about all dogs, is their unconditional love, and how they are special and unique in their own ways. It's such a fun experience to play and interact with dogs, to really see their personalities shine! I have a lot of experience with senior dogs, as my parents have rescued seniors for years. I've also had to care for many dogs with illnesses/medical issues. I had three labradors with cancer in the past few years; more specifically soft tissue cancer, and bone cancer. I took care of them, administered medications, took them to their appointments, and gave them the most love until their last moments before they crossed rainbow bridge. In high school, I went to Sno-Isle Technical School for Veterinary Assisting, since I've always had such a strong passion for animals. I had a great time there, and learned so much. My most recent job, before I had a baby and started college again, was at a veterinary clinic as a hospital attendant, vet assistant, and receptionist. I have volunteered at the Everett Animal Shelter, and have also fostered dogs through the shelter. Working with animals has been the most rewarding work I have done yet. I've worked with and handled all kinds of dogs: big, small, vicious, sick/injured.. I've experienced A LOT! And I have loved and enjoyed each and every furry friend I have encountered. It's all about giving them the proper care, and of course, LOVE, that they deserve. I served in the U.S. Army for 3 years right out of high school. I received my AA at Everett Community College in 2016, then received my BA in Human Services from Western Washington University in 2019. My passion is to serve others, and give back as much as I can. I am happily married, and now a stay-at-home mom to two wonderful children: Penny, age 3, and Rhett, age 1. They are gentle, sweet doggie lovers themselves, and have the best time playing with our two fur babies, Ruby and Walter, the corgis!
