Pet care experience
I've had animals in my home and care almost my entire life. I am a receptionist at the Lewis Clark Animal Shelter full time, so I continue to spend my days surrounded by furry friends! I am perfectly okay with walking dogs, playing intense games of fetch, or if they're down for it, I'm even alright with couch snuggles. If I'm boarding, I do require food; otherwise for walking, check-ins, and babysitting at your home I do not require much at all. Thanks in advance!

In my home, I do have cats, one dog and small children which can be an obstacle for some dogs. While I do not have a yard at current, I do have access to a small grassy patch and am equipped with a large dog crate. If I am to be at your home, my children will not be with me unless previously discussed. I want to make any and all interactions as comfortable as I possibly can and understand that small children do cause a lot of anxiety in some pets.

I would like to know any and all special needs your dog has as well as typical behaviors. Dietary restrictions are welcomed too. As a shelter employee, I do have access to a few more resources than your average individual and I would love to utilize those resources to create a good game plan for my interactions with your dog if given enough of a heads up to do so!
A typical day
My home is quite close to the boat ramp section of the levee so that is my favorite place to go on strolls, with or without a furry friend. I am also fond of exploring the area by the movie theater if I want a bit more of a workout! I have opened my own little pet bakery as well so I’m always looking for treat testers and have a yummy snack on hand always, with dietary restrictions and concerns taken into serious account of course.

Availability
I am looking to do some additional pet care work as a supplement to my current work load. I currently have an 8am-5 pm schedule that rotates monthly between Monday to Friday and Tuesday to Saturday. I do also get an hour lunch during the day, typically from 1-2pm or thereabouts, so a midday check-in isn’t outlandish at all.
