Your dogs will be given absolute 1-on-1 attention. We live in a lovely Spokane home with a big backyard that is fully fenced. My husband and I truly enjoy all dogs and love spending time with our Rover pals! We currently have 2 cats, who like to spend their time in the basement. They stay inside and mostly sleep during the day - they are very friendly with our friend's dogs, and we are also happy to keep them separated from your dogs, if that’s what you prefer. I promise your pup will be safe and comfortable. We keep a very clean home & yard. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have - thank you for your time and consideration! DOGGY DAY CARE: Please know I will only watch dogs for 6 hours at a time for doggy day care. Anything longer will be considered boarding. Hannah told me she had experience with puppies, so I thought my puppy (11-week old cavalier king charles spaniel) was in good hands. Georgie came back to me with his $60 dog bed chewed apart. His collar was chewed up as well. 6 of the 17 toys provided for his 5-day stay were missing as well as his leash. The most heartbreaking part was when I picked Georgie up and could feel his ribs and spine. After a 10-minute drive home, I put down a bowl of food that Georgie devoured in less than two minutes. I then put another bowl down that he ate up just as quick. I gave Hannah specific directions on how to feed him. He is a small breed puppy and they eat a lot. Additionally, I asked her to feed him a few ziplock baggies of mixed food as his first bowls of food, because his stomach was still getting used to the new dog food I bought him and after unpacking his things I noticed those baggies were unused! Hannah kept Georgie in his play pen the majority of his stay. She even tried to put him away in her bathroom at night, when I specifically told her that he sleeps with me in his crate and is too young to sleep in his own room alone. Young puppies cannot be left alone for very long and I thought she was aware of this. Puppies are a lot of work, which I thought Hannah was aware of. She complained that Georgie was high maintenance and had a less than pleasant attitude when I asked for alternative sleeping arrangments and inquired about his eating habits during his stay. I'm sure low maintenance adult dogs would do well with Hannah, but I do not think Hannah is capable of caring for puppies. With the number of ruined dog things and obvious hunger of my dog upon returning home, it's evident puppies are not for her. If she really had experience with puppies, she would know that young puppies need lots of play time and attention including the ability to run around and play as often as possible. One star. Because at least he is still alive, but again: I WOULD NOT USE HANNAH UNLESS YOU HAVE A VERY CHILL LOW-MAINTENANCE DOG
Daisy's stay with Hannah was wonderful, just like last time! What a blessing to have Hannah and her family to care for our precious dog. Hannah's home and yard were perfect for our Old English Sheepdog. Hannah is a very caring person.
It was great!!
Hannah was so sweet and took my reservation on very short notice. Speedo was happy and seemed in great spirits when I picked him up. She let him sleep beside their bed at night which I know made him more comfortable. I would definitely recommend Hannah and hope to use her next time I need to leave Speedo overnight. Her home was so clean and the big fenced back yard made me feel very good about leaving him.
