Your dogs home away from home!
Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Hannah, I'm currently a student at the University of Rochester, and I can't wait to meet you and your fur babies! It's difficult for me to put into words how much dogs mean to me. Every time I see a wag of the tail or get a sweet slobbery kiss, my heart swells. Their unconditional love knows no bounds and I've made it my mission to show every dog I interact with how important they are to me. They truly make the sun shine a litter brighter and put a skip in my step! I've spent my entire life around dogs (currently, my parents have 3 dogs - a rhodesian ridgeback, a plott hound/boxer mix, and a great dane/pointer mix). I have experience dog-sitting and dog-walking prior to coming to college. I have worked and interned at a farm animal sanctuary and have copious amounts of experience with all kinds of animals, big and small. Having had such extensive experience with large animals, I am extremely comfortable working with all breeds. Furthermore, I am well versed on animal behavior and have worked with dogs ranging from highly anxious to extremely confident. My patience, love, and kindness knows no limits when it comes to animals and I will treat your babies like the kings and queens that they are!
Reviews
Hannah was incredible with our 7 month-old pup! We needed help with care throughout two long work days and Hannah was there to assist and more. I was most impressed with Hannah spending significant time outside, in the windy cold, chasing our pup around so that she got her “puppy energy out”. I highly recommend Hannah and plan to contact her again for future care needs.
Hannah was super sweet with iris and Serena. She went above and beyond to keep me informed. I appreciate everything she did.
The best dog sitter EVER! - she made sure to check on any and all of Remi's habits (good and bad) as well as her routines to keep her as happy as possible while I was gone - she gave me frequent updates and told me before I started to worry - she kept my house SO clean!! it was like she was never there - she let me know when she was leaving my home so that I was aware when my dog was along
Hannah is a gentle soul who loves all animals. She has spent the last 2 summers working with large animals on a farm and at an animal sanctuary. The animal sanctuary wanted her to forgo school so she could continue working there. Hannah is very attentive and playful with our 3 dogs. Last summer Hannah, in addition to her sanctuary work, dog sat for 2 dogs for 2 weeks. The owners were very pleased with her care of their animals. Hannah is very attentive to the needs of the dogs and is very trustworthy.. I never hesitate to have Hannah take care of our dogs when we leave town.

Information Hannah N. would like to know about your pet
I have no breed preferences! I would like to know any behavior quirks that are unique to your dog (i.e. doesn't like being scratched inside her ears, is very skittish/anxious, doesn't do well with new dogs, etc.). In addition, any health problems (such as allergies, arthritis, etc.) would be necessary pieces of information.
A typical day
While staying with me, dogs will enjoy a nice variety of different walks! Living off campus gives me the opportunity to provide dogs with walks through campus, in Genesee Valley Park, and walks in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Furthermore, I have a vehicle already covered in dog hair so the park possibilities are endless! In addition to fun exciting walks, activities may include (but are not limited to) walking around downtown, meeting new friends, finding new hiking trails (current favorites are in Mendon Ponds Park!), and stopping for a puppacino at Starbucks on our way back for a little treat!
