Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life to take care of. One of my parents’ dogs is elderly and has required medication twice daily for the past 7 years, so medication routines are easy for me to handle and remember. I volunteered for a year in undergraduate at an animal shelter pre-COVID, taking care of cleaning and maintaining the cat rooms while ensuring they received enough socialization.

Hannah was great. We got daily reports about our dogs, a photo and she was prompt for meeting to go over routines and was even early on day we left on vacation She is very friendly and cooperative and my dogs liked her right away.
We had a wonderful experience with Hannah caring for our sweet boy Rupert! He has some anxiety and she was very attentive to his needs, and kept in great communication with us throughout our trip so we never worried. Definitely recommend!
Hannah was great! We returned home to happy dogs and we couldnt ask for anything more than that. She sent daily updates and photos which we appreciated very much. We would gladly book again!

Please let me know if your dog has any sort of anxiety when you are gone, or if they have any certain routines that should be followed, like if you typically only walk them at a certain time of day, etc. I like to keep dogs in their normal routine as much as possible.
A typical day
I love to take dogs on at least 10-15 minute walks, even longer depending on their energy levels. I also love visiting dog parks and allowing them to socialize while also having some space to run, so if your dog does well at the local dog parks let me know and I’d love to take them!

I’m currently a PhD student at UW-Madison! I’m available almost all weekends because much of my research involves me being in town, so those dates and times are preferred in case you want to get away for a weekend!
