***PLEASE READ*** I am getting back into pet sitting after having my first baby in May. I cannot spend nights away from her yet therefore I can only accept house sitting requests if you are comfortable with her tagging along with me. She is a really good baby and is used to being around our two dogs already. I often baby wear her in a carrier and we can go on walks with or without the stroller. As long as your dog is kid-friendly it shouldn’t be a problem at all! I'm 26 years old, married to my soulmate since April 2020, and I currently work at a dog daycare. In the past I have worked at other doggy daycares and a vet clinic as a veterinary assistant. I grew up with a wonderful whippet named Gabriel and a long haired calico kitty named Gibette, as well as various other pets along the way. I've always been the "animal crazy" girl who knew every pet in the neighborhood and greeted dogs more enthusiastically than their people! I have experience with obedience training and basic grooming (nail trims/brush outs/bathing). At work I interact with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I love making personal connections with every dog I meet, and I consider myself skilled in reading animals' body language and behavior. I care for every pet as if they were my own. When I take care of your dog, I will send you pictures, update you on our visits, and let you know generally how he or she is doing! I'm comfortable with anxious and shy dogs, and dogs with high energy levels. I'd like to avoid dogs with aggression issues however. My husband Michael loves animals of all kinds and sometimes he helps me care for your pets. We are a team! We have a tortie kitty named Daenerys, the Khaleesi of our home. I am also the proud dog mom of a silly and lovable German Shorthaired Pointer, Roman Alexander, and Heidi, a hound mix I rescued in November 2018. They’re both high energy, super sweet dogs.
