Pet care experience
I have been caring for family and friends dogs since I've had a car to fit them all in! I am very available in my afternoons and evenings and love to take dogs with me when I am hiking and mountain biking. I have cared for collies, terriers, pit-bulls, and everything in between. I currently own a ten month old German Shepard puppy who needs at least three hours of exercise a day and loves companions. I can comfortably adjust my morning and evening schedule around the dogs needs when housesitting. I am patient with old dogs, as my last two dogs lived to be 18 and 16, I am understanding of their uncontrollable bladders and bowls. I will be in Bend Oregon May 20-August 1st 2020 and would love to commit to walking dogs consistently during this time.

Hannah has experience in taking care of small and big dogs. She is loving, a young adult who is tall and strong, so dogs who like walks will find an excellent companion in Hannah. She's taken care of our Jack Russell Terriers (walking both of them at the same time) and I've seen her work equally well with a large puppy (German Shepherd ) whose size and energy is a challenge for most people. I can recommend Hannah to be a reliable and fun companion for dogs (and cats) of any size.

I have no preference on breed, like I stated earlier, I am comfortable with any size dog and do not discourage based on if a breed is stereotypically aggressive. I would like to know if they have a history of biting, how they are around children or adults, and how they act around other dogs. I can absolutely work around a dogs preference on people and other dogs.
A typical day
I have a cultivated road and trail network system in the Deschutes National forest near my house which is great for taking dogs without worrying about crowding. For sociable dogs, meadow camp is a great place to bike and run with them with plenty of other dogs and river for a post-run soak. The marshland by Sparks lake has proved successful at entertaining my puppy for hours, as I am sure it will for your dog.
