Loving Puppy and Kitty Sitter!

Pet care experience

**Please make sure to scroll down and read "When Hannah watches your dog" to get further details. I pour my heart and soul into the pets I care for. Having previously been enrolled in vet school and volunteered and fostered for numerous animal shelters, I have experience with most breeds of dogs and cats and numerous other species. I offer a priceless passion for animals that will place your mind at ease. I take pride in teaching my pets proper puppy manners, and reward them with long walks and affection they each deserve. I own a wonderful rescued sled dog from Alaska that loves all animals big and small. With her energy and playful nature, we make a perfect team to offer your furry companion a fun and exciting getaway. As a full time pet caretaker, take comfort that I will be looking after your companion during his or her entire stay!! :-)

Hannah is really responsible and reliable. She sends great pics of my dog that she takes during her visits and he looks so happy!

I had Hannah come and take Honey for a walk on a day when both my son and I had to work late. She took photos of their time together. I know Honey was glad to get out of the crate for some exercise.

Hannah was great with Luna! She was attentive and helpful over a holiday weekend. Our cat isn’t always the friendliest but she really seemed to like Hannah. We’ll definitely be asking her to help out again.

Hannah did a great job with Honey. She kept me updated and sent me a photo of Honey with her new toy. Hannah worked with Honey on her leash training and we were able to take Honey for a walk when we returned. I highly recommend Hannah!

Information Hannah L. would like to know about your pet

* I can only offer pet care at the owner's home at the moment. ◘Before sitting for your pet I'd like to know◘ • Is your pet up-to-date with shots and flea prevention? Please send me a picture of their recent shot records. Flea prevention is highly recommended as the dogs go out on walks and visit the dog park during their stay. •Is he/she on any type of schedule (food, sleep, potty, etc.)? Please organize their food, leash, and bed /crate for easy access. If your pet uses pee pads please supply those as well. For puppies please be as detailed as possible on their care instructions (crate or pad training schedule). • How is your pet around other animals (small and big dogs, cats, small animals, etc.)? • Does you dog have any behavioral tendencies that I should be aware of (separation anxiety, resource guarding, food aggression, marking)? • Is your pet on any medications? Please be as detailed as possible on their care instructions and leave their vet information and emergency contact. • Does your pet have any food allergies or special constraints? • Is there anything else you'd like to add?

A typical day

House sitting: I'm comfortable with watching any size dog as long as they're friendly. While house sitting your dog will go on two to three walks a day (30 minutes to an hour each). For those pet guests that enjoy the company of other dogs, we can visit the dog park or the beach with the owner's permission. If your pet prefers something calmer we can visit local parks where they can enjoy a leisurely stroll on the leash. House sitting includes either three drop in visits with walks (morning, afternoon, and evening) or one overnight stay in your home with drop in visits with walks in the evening and in the morning. If additional drop in visits are needed please let me know. Other basic chores around the house (bringing in the mail, watering the plants, etc.) are included free of charge as well as cleaning up after the pets. Pet care for small caged animals is included free of charge with the visit for your dog or cat. House sitting is available on a limited basis so please book ahead. ** House sitting rates: $25/day for dogs (1 max) $25/day for cats (2 max) Puppy: Normal rate + $5/night First Additional dog: $10/night Second Additional dog: free Additional cat: $5/night Holiday: Normal rate +$10/night Drop-In Visits: Can be for any type of pet, especially cats.
