Pet care experience
I worked at an animal clinic (Smiling Pets Animal Clinic, Miami, FL) for 3 years during high school. I have worked with all sorts of animals of different sizes. I am always at home during the weekends and I am free every day after 12. Your pet will never be bored or kept in a cage during the day. Ever! I go on trails every weekend with my boyfriend and we love finding new places to visit. We are both dog lovers and will constantly provide love and care to your fur baby. I enjoy a lot of activities outdoors and given that I go to a beautiful university with a lovely campus, your dog will have lots of places to explore at UF. I want to make sure they are friendly towards males (I know some dogs don't like male humans, like my own dog in Miami). I have no breed preferences, although I am used to handling smaller dogs (40 pounds and less) since my own dogs are small. I do know how to handle larger dogs given the animal clinic experience.
A typical day
Trails in Gainesville (Bolen Bluff, San Felasco, etc.), dog parks, long walks in open fields, swimming, a lot of time outside.
