Pet care experience
I have worked at an animal shelter walking dogs, socializing them, as well as cleaning cages and giving food and water. Many of these dogs have had tumultuous pasts and can be nervous or aggressive so I have experience handling these personalities. I can also pick out different behavioral signals and approach accordingly. Additionally, I have pet sat and house sat for friends and neighbors with senior dogs, multiples dogs, and puppies. I am a college student at American University in Washington, DC but I am home in Baltimore this summer taking online classes this summer so I have a lot of availability and also have a car so it is easy for me to get around. Outside of dog sitting/walking specifically, I have work experience including customer service and retail.

We can go on walks around the neighborhood, at the dog park, play in the backyard (if there is one), frisbee or tug of war and other toys indoors and outdoors.
