I do ask to know your preferred vet if it were needed. Also if your pet(s) do not have vaccination records. I will still watch them, but this is just for safety precautions and in case of emergency and the vet asks. If you need any special accommodations for your pets like medications, assistance in any activity, etc let me know so I can do what your pet needs!
A typical day
Any activities your dog enjoys. Id rather know what your dog likes and doesn't like up front so I can plan accordingly. I want your dog to feel safe and secure. I do have hiking trails on my property and plenty of enrichment activities.

Animal CPR certified. Fear Free certified. IACP Member. IAABC Member. I have undergone schooling as a veterinary technician and I'm a certified dog trainer. I volunteer at a local animal shelter and run my own 501c3 rescue through delegating foster homes and managing adoption events etc, I currently own cats, dogs, and small pets. My whole life I've been around dogs amongst all walks of life. Cats, horses, birds, turtles, ferrets, bearded dragons, hamsters, Bobcats, lynx. I have experience with behavior issues and animals with disabilities too. My home set up is where I am able to allow multiple rooms and even a seperate floor for any animal(s) needing boarded that need separated from other animals as well. This helps to ensure if I have any animals with reactivity or severe anxiety that they can still be accompanied accordingly. Id love to be able to provide care towards any dog. I'm willing to work with schedules, numerous dogs, large and puppies. Nothing is too much for me. Gimme a chance to show you how good I am at what I want to do as a career. Hannah did a great job watching our beagle. Our dog can be a bit nervous about new dogs, especially big ones, and Hannah introduced her gently and sent plenty of pics of the pack hanging out together.
Hannah was amazing. We had a last minute need. We were heading to Charlottesville for a wedding. A little before our trip we found out my dog had lymphoma. We wanted her close to us, just in case. Hannah was very responsive and jumped right in to help. Hazel had a great time at her house. I highly recommend using Hannah if you need furbaby care.
While I did feel our dog Ellie was in good hands, I was disappointed by the lack of communication with Hannah. I had to reach out to see how Ellie was doing, where I’m usually used to the sitter reaching out first/reassuring she is doing well, especially in a new place. Also, when we picked her up, Hannah had misplaced the rest of her food, a toy we had brought, and the food scooper we provided. Hannah was apologetic and said she would look around for it. However, after reaching out multiple times about if she found it over the past week, she did not respond. I would’ve appreciated any response, even if she did not find it. I would not bring my dog back here due to the lack of communication.
Hannah was so great with Stella. Her experience with dogs made me feel very comfortable doing a last minute booking and she was communicative throughout my trip, providing updates on Stella. Stella has a tendency to be reactive and resource guard and it made me feel so much better knowing she was staying with someone with not only experience with these kinds of behaviors, but also a space to keep her separate if needed. Will definitely be booking with Hannah again!
