I am currently finishing up my Master's degree in Environmental Education, and have a love and passion for all things outdoors. My work is online so I am home and available most of the time. I have experience with large and small dogs and love playing fetch (almost) as much as a retriever. I grew up with labrador retrievers and have a special affinity for them. These dogs were all trained hunting companions, so I have experience with trained hunting dogs, their commands, how to handle them and which games are and are not allowed for a highly trained animal. I also have experience with special needs dogs including diabetic dogs. I have a fully-fenced yard that my dogs love to run around and play in, including a custom dog-digging pit where I hide toys and treats for the dogs to find. They have their own room in my house that is full of doggy beds and toys for when I step away for a little while. Of course, they prefer snuggling on the couch or bed with me most of the time, however!
