I know it's not easy to leave your pet with someone else. I'm here to alleviate that unease by treating your dog as if they were my own, while communicating with you as often as you would like. Over the last fifteen years I have provided care to a wide variety of dogs: puppies, seniors, breeds of all sizes, sick dogs, special-needs dogs, rescue dogs, unfriendly dogs and dogs with separation anxiety from their owners. Growing up with two large dogs (a Boxer and a Weimaraner) and currently owning a large rescue dog (Weimaraner mix), I have extensive experience and knowledge regarding the care and wellbeing of these beautiful animals! I have experience in caring for sick dogs: inserting eye/ear drops, performing antiseptic cleanings, administering medication, cleaning wounds, etc. In addition, I have smoothly handled numerous emergency medical situations. It is not uncommon for dogs to experience slight distress when first separated from their owners, and that is why I am committed to creating a strong bond with your dog above anything else. I can ensure you that they will feel safe and are in good hands! I am young, energetic, and most importantly I am responsible. I have a flexible schedule and could attend to pets in the morning, afternoon and evening, including overnight stays. When visiting pets for short in-home visits my routine is usually as follows: take them for a brief walk to alleviate themselves, return to the home to feed the pet, allow the pet to digest food (aka cuddle time), play with toys, then take them on a long walk to burn energy and alleviate themselves once more. If the client usually takes their dog to dog-parks, I am more than comfortable taking dogs to parks and off-leash areas. Your pet's safety and wellbeing is my number one priority. You can rest assured that I will care for your pet as if they were my own. I am a graduate student with flexible hours during the day and evening. I'm also available all day and night on weekends as needed! Your pet will be my priority. I am diligent and conscientious and will ensure your dog is secure in any location (e.g., checking the perimeter when off-leash, checking that harnesses are securely on, ensuring all doors and windows are locked). Your dog's safety is my top concern.
