Pet care experience
I am a huge dog lover and would love the opportunity to care for your furry friend! Besides growing up with dogs my entire life, I raised a guide dog for the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind during undergrad at the University of Georgia, who is now a working guide dog, so I have a deep understanding of dog behavior. When I returned to UGA for grad school, I decided to raise another golden retriever for the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind; however, working life was not for her because she developed epilepsy, and I have since adopted her. I have experience with dogs with special needs, including epilepsy. I have cared for many different breeds, including Chihuahuas, English Setters, golden retrievers, Australian shepherds, and many more. I also have experience caring for senior dogs. I can provide help with basic obedience. I work for a local nonprofit and have very flexible hours working from home. My goal is to keep your dog on his/her normal routine so that they are as comfortable and happy as can be. Whether your dog has the energy of the energizer bunny or prefers a more mellow scene, I can accommodate both. I also volunteer for Canine CellMates, a local Atlanta-based nonprofit that rescues shelter dogs that are then trained inside Fulton County Jail. I'm the Fundraising Team Lead and helped walk the dogs all summer during the COVID-19 pandemic. I'm available during the week and weekend. I'm happy to give medicine as needed.
Reviews
Hannah did such a good job watching Beans! By far the best rover experience so far and can’t recommend her enough.
Hannah helped me with a drop-in visit with my 1-year old pup on a day when I had to work late and was a lifesaver! She was so responsive leading up to and during her visit, was so thoughtful about the care instructions, and sent lots of cute photos! You can tell she really loves dogs and knows how to train and handle them.
Hannah was THE BEST! I couldn't have asked for more from someone watching Maggie. I highly recommend Hannah and would use her again in an instant.
Hannah was patience, flexible and understanding when sitting Ruger. I recommend her when considering someone to care for your pets. My booking was last minute, Hannah responded promptly and was accommodating.

Information Hannah F. would like to know about your pet
What is your dog's exercise routine? Is your dog crate trained or do they have free rein of your home when you are not there? What commands does your dog know? Is there anything in particular you would like me to know about your dog? Does your dog get along with other dogs?
A typical day
I live in the heart of East Lake and less than a mile from Oakhurst Village and love walking my dog, Rose, to the Oakhurst Dog Park, which is just under a mile walk from my house! On days we don't visit the dog park, we walk all throughout the neighborhood and visit the Beltline and neighboring parks! Sometimes, when I want to switch things up, Rose and I will visit Piedmont Park or Fetch! I live in a house with a fully-fenced backyard, so Rose and I take several breaks during the day while I work from home to play fetch in the backyard. Rose absolutely loves other dogs and will be so excited to have a furry friend to play with! Depending on your dog's needs, we can spend all day playing fetch, hiking on nearby trails, or taking it slow with leisurely walks.
