Pet care experience
I have been surrounded by pets since I was little, I currently have one dog, a westie named Sunny :) I am well versed on how to behave and handle many animals including horses and cows, and I am currently in veterinary school at UW-Madison. Through this job I am Hoping to make some extra cash to help pay for schooling and have a little pet therapy with your amazing pet! I worked as a veterinary technician at an animal hospital in St. Paul for one year and through that job and my schooling I have learned how to properly take care of many different types of pets, and also learned how to keep a lookout for any warning signs of illness and how to help them if needed. I have experience with ill and special needs pets as well as senior pets. I would love to watch your fur babies for you!

Hannah was fabulous! She is prompt, kind, professional and great with our senior dog, Rayna. Hannah kept us updated with texts and pictures. She followed care instructions sticking to our dog’s daily routine and administered our senior pup’s oral meds without problems. We hope Hannah is available for the next time we are in need of a dogsitter!
Hannah is AWESOME! 💯 She took amazing care of my pup (who has a ton of weird quirks) and house sat for me while I was out of town for a week, and I could tell he had the best time. Hannah was so wonderful with our dogs! She kept us updated while we were out of town and she sent us lots of photos. The dogs seemed to love her and were well taken care of with lots of cuddles and love! We would absolutely invited Hannah back to our house to care for our pets.

I would love to know before hand if your pet has any special needs, medications or preferences that are important for me to know in case I need to medicate them! I am skilled in giving medication orally but also subcutaneously if needed. If you would also like me to work on skills training with your pet I would love to help! Just let me know what skills you are looking for and I will do my best to help guide their training.
A typical day
I love to exercise the pets I take care of both physically with running, swimming, etc. and also mentally, with fun enrichment games using things like snuffle mats, lick mats, and complex toys to give their brains a workout as well!

I am very open scheduling-wise for the summertime! I have a job where I could be gone for 8 hours at a time but I can come around and check on your pets as many times as needed!
