I personally have 4 pets in my family. A 10 yr. old female Akita leads the pack, and she is my best friend. About three years ago,I adopted a female pit bull/boxer mix (thank you DNA test!) who was very sick with a combination of distemper and pneumonia, among other ailments. She wasn't thought to make it but, after several rounds of meds, nebulizing treatments, and lots of love and warmth, she grew to be stronger than anyone thought she would! So thats my little miracle pup! Also, I have adopted a male mastiff mix who is 2-3 yrs old and he was found in South TX after the floods and went through a few families before coming home with us and has fit right in ever since! Last but not least is my little black kitten that I saved from a storm drain across the street from my house a couple years ago. Needless to say, I love the animal kind! I have had pets since I was growing up as a baby with a Schnauzer and I will always have furry members of my family. They bring so much warmth to your life! I travel alot, so I know how it feels to want your fur children to have the care and attention you give them even when you aren't able to be home. I am available for visits last minute. I love meeting new furry friends!
