Pet care experience
I've had family dogs all my life, but I adopted Casper on my own 5 years ago. Caring for him has given me such purpose in life, and I'd love to lovingly care for your dog, too! I'm extremely patient (aka: potty-related accidents are whatever) and I love to get on the ground and play. Long walks—we’re talking hours with an ‘s’ —are my absolute favorite, and I live close to the Herbert Von King Dog Park, where Casper and I are regulars. Outside of my working hours as a 5th grade English Language Arts teacher, you can rest assured that I'm spending all of my time caring for your pet. If they’re with me, they're getting tons of attention, walks, and cuddles! My schedule will be built around you and your dog's needs, and with my non-aggressive, playful, neutered Caspy at home, there will be lots of fun to be had for all of us! Casper was recently diagnosed with diabetes, so I’m also experienced and comfortable providing medications, including injections.
Reviews
Hannah provided daycare for my dog with separation anxiety. She was very compassionate and kept me updated about how she was doing! Great experience! We will definitely be booking again
Hannah was great with Rory! She was easy to communicate with and accommodating with pickup and drop-off. We'll definitely use her again.
Hannah was great! Our pup Barty stayed for a longer visit and was glad he got to spend time with another very sweet dog. I received updates and was certain that Barty has made himself at home.
Hannah is great with our one year old pup! He is rambunctious and can be a handful, and Hannah is great about communicating with us and taking care of him while we are at work. She is flexible and our pup loves going there! Highly recommended.

I live with my dog, Casper, and no roommates on the top floor of a animal-friendly Bed-Stuy brownstone (2 flights of stairs up). My apartment has 5 rooms, a bed and couch that welcome pups, and a doggy gate, should I need to section the apartment off for any reason. My style of pet care is very responsive: if your dog is sleepy, we nap! If they are riled up, we’ll go to the park! Do they have to go to the bathroom during a snowstorm? Well, we’re bundling up and going for a walk! Whatever they need, I provide.

Information Hannah B. would like to know about your pet
In addition to any pertinent training or medical information, I welcome knowledge about your dog’s preferences related to food, toys, play, and exercise. Again, I completely shape my care strategies around your specific animal!
A typical day
Immediately upon waking up (during an overnight board), we’re getting out the leashes and going on a long walk. I especially enjoy taking pups to the Herbert Von King Dog Park on weekend days! After that, we’ll eat, take any necessary medications, play with some toys, and snuggle up for naps. I’m only a block away from Who’s Your Doggy? pet supply store, which is open 7 days a week from 10-6, so if your fur friend needs anything that I don’t have while they’re with me, we’re good to go!
