A lifelong animal lover, I’ve taken care of household pets and farm animals since I was a child. I am passionate about animals and have over 10 years of experience managing equine faculties, over 15 years of caring for farm animals and pets, and have been involved in fostering/rescuing dogs. I am passionate about caring for animals and have been proven a reliable and trustworthy caretaker for animals large and small, from family pets to prized show animals.

When caring for animals in your home, I can easily crate, feed, water, walk, and play with pets of any size. I grew up with large dogs myself and have worked with horses my whole life, so I am experienced handling larger animals. I am pregnant, so I can only lift cats/smaller dogs and cannot clean cat litter boxes at this time.

Please let me know of any behavioral issues, challenges, or special needs in advance. I am experienced with difficult personalities in dogs and cats, particularly with dogs who are reactive to dogs and people on the leash, dogs who resource guard, amputee dogs, senior dogs, and puppies, as well as aggressive cats, though I do ask for advanced notice, for my safety and the animal’s, especially as I am currently pregnant. I also want to be sure that all dogs I handle are up-to-date on all vaccinations.
A typical day
I would love to take your dog to a variety of locations depending on their personality and needs! I love taking dogs to parks, on hikes and walks on wooded trails, trips to the beach, trips to town and rides in the car for exposure to all the sights and sounds around them! I love to play — fetch, chase, tug-of-war — whatever your dog enjoys and you allow! I am also great at enforcing any boundaries you have for your dog, for example: not playing tug-of-war with a retriever or not encouraging rough play or jumping, etc.

I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule over the next few months. I am most easily available between 0730 and 1500 on weekdays, though again I am flexible!
