I have worked as a dog-walker and live-in dogsitter for more than ten years. A lifelong animal-lover, I turned my appreciation for animals and nature into a career as a biologist, with a flexible daily schedule to accommodate your pet. I'm sadly unable to have dogs where I currently live, so I would absolutely love to care for yours! I'm an active person, and very happy to take your dog (or cat!) to either fun new walking areas or comforting routine ones. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and energy levels, from your energetic Aussies that never stop fetching to your senior labradors that just want more ear scratches. I'm happy to talk through any special needs your pet may have, and very willing to accommodate animals currently working on any commands or behavior corrections.

I would like to know your pet's habits, what is the maximum time you'd like them to be left alone, if they get along with other animals and people, and anything that makes them uncomfortable. Is your pet is on any meds, and if so, on what schedule? Are there any commands or behaviors you are working on with them, and if so, how do you reward them?
A typical day
I love to explore neighborhoods or woodsy walking trails with furry friends, and my knowledge of local dog-friendly trails is always growing! If your dog is more comfortable with a normal routine, I'm just as happy to stick with his or her usual walk path!

Availability
I'm a graduate student/researcher, so I have a very flexible schedule that lets me work around what's best for your pups! However, I do have to go into work a few days each week, so I'm a good fit if you're looking for an overnight house-sitter with dogs or cats okay being alone for 6-7 hours during the day (or who have other daytime accommodations)!
