Pet care experience
I've always been fascinated with animals; especially dogs and cats. They're so expressive and we have such a unique relationship with them. I have experience taking care of all types of dogs from the tiniest chihuahuas to gigantic great danes and I love them all! I've been pet sitting and dogwalking for about 10 years now and it gives me so much joy. I work as a paraeducator in a special day class at Springhill Elementary School in Lafayette and I live in Crockett. I have regular seasonal breaks which gives me more time to care for animals. ⏰Currently I’m available after 12 pm on weekdays and anytime on the weekends.

When I housesit I need to have info about your home and your animals daily routine. My goal is to form trusting relationships with the animals I care for to create a safe environment for all. When dog walking, I make sure to adjust my level of activity to your dogs needs and comfort level. I also like to know if they have any health conditions and how they interact with other animals.

I love all dogs of all shapes and sizes and breeds. I would like to know if they have any kind of anxiety or if they are allergic to any types of food.
A typical day
I like to go on at least one long walk a day depending on the health of the animal and I love going to parks like Point Isabel, Wild Cat Canyon and Point Pinole. I also love the beach and if your animal enjoys road trips I'll take them with me. If your animal is a more mellow type, I also love just hanging out in the house with them while I draw, read and watch tv. I love cuddling and giving scratches behind the ears as well.
