I have had a dog all my life. I grew up in a home with many animals including: dogs, cats, snakes, lizards, desert tortoises, birds, and chickens. I grew up with the responsibilities of helping care for these animals. Currently, I have a 13 year old Lhasa Apso named Kernel. He is a very sweet dog who gets along with every dog and human he meets. He is very low energy but still has a bounce in his step. He likes to sleep a lot but can also keep up on long walks. I enjoy taking him on some trails near my house or to the beach. I have cared for many different dog breeds including: golden retrievers, labs, pit bulls, chihuahuas, french bulldogs, poodles, English mastiffs, Australian shepherds, border collies, heelers, huskies, and others. I have cared for puppies as well as older dogs, pets that need extra care, attention, or medication. My dog is currently loosing his sight and is on eyedrops twice daily so I am very capable of administering medication if needed as well as able to care for pets with special needs. I have cared for blind dogs and dogs post surgery. I have many years experience with house and pet sitting, dog walking, day care, and drop in visits. My house is located near many non frequented trails where I take my dog everyday. My yard is large and mostly fenced off. I always keep a good eye on the animals in my care. Our neighborhood is quiet with little car traffic. I have a vehicle. I have housemates that I have lived with for many years but I have my own private room, and my housemates are very accustomed to my work and love having extra fluffy friends come stay with us. Your pet will receive lots of care and love at my home or yours.
