Pet care experience
Professionally dogsitting for 8 years! I’ve been around dogs my whole life. I raised a litter of puppies in middle school, dog sat for friends and family, helped train friends’ dogs, and walked dogs for return clients as long as a 3 year span. I have a pup myself now - he’s very well trained, and I’ve gone through multiple obedience classes with him at a local training cooperative.

Hanna was great with my kitties! Even when Ivy was sassy to her, Hanna was still positive about taking care of them! Thank you!
Hanna was wonderful with my 1-yr old puppy, Blue, and Milo is a love. She left Blue tired and the house neat and picked up. A great weekend of care all around!
Hanna was so great! Took great care of our fur baby and our home — sent lots of pics:)
I have known Hanna her entire life and what I have observed is what a loving and compassionate person she has grown up to be. She loves animals and is patient with them, while also holding them to high standards of behavior. She has a good demeanor and I believe she will be an excellent addition to your team. She is reliable, responsible as well as professional. She is also a good problem solver and quick on her feet in the event that snap decisions become necessary. Overall, I can't think of a single reason why you wouldn't want to hire her for your dog sitting/walking business.

Safety, trust & environment
When dogsitting I follow all instructions (obviously) but also, with permission, like to take dogs to dog parks or to a play date! In an ideal situation I would be able to bring my small pup with me - if the dogs do not get along I can keep my dog secluded or crated. I have a car and knowledge of vets in the area, and I am an expert at throwing the ball.
Information Hanna S. would like to know about your pet
If house/dog sitting I would love to take my dog with me - let me know if that is an option. I'd love to know if a dog is a chewer, if a chew toy is enough to satiate them, and if there are items (ex: chargers) that I should hide from them. Similarly, it's good to know if they have a long tail that is prone to knocking things over, so I’m mindful about where I leave belongings. Last but not least, it's very important to know if a dog is reactive! This is especially important for walks.
A typical day
I’m fine sleeping in the same bed as your dog if that’s allowed! There will always be morning belly rubs. After breakfast and morning walk I’ll play for a bit if the dog has lots of energy, or let them nap nearby until they want to play. Over lunchtime we can go to a dog park or walk around one of the many lakes in the area! Mid afternoon is low-key because that is often when the heat peaks over the summer. I like to end the day with a little bit of training or enrichment so the dog has a tired mind and tired body before snoozing for the night.

Availability
I’m a law student completing two flexible, remote internships this summer. My schedule varies on a weekly basis but is always flexible. It’s useful to have timing ranges for drop-in visits - ex: dog needs to be fed between 6 and 8 rather than dog must be fed at 7:45
